Kusum Mongia, MBA
Teacher of Mindfulness

Kusum earned an undergraduate engineering degree in Delhi, India. She began her professional career as a software engineer for an Indian company and was sent to Florida for her first project. As that one-year stint turned into multi-year projects in the US, Ms. Mongia decided to pursue an MBA. She worked as a management consultant and in corporate strategy before motherhood and international moves exerted their influences on her life.

After a few exciting years in the corporate world, Ms. Mongia chose to become a full-time mother. As she raised her family and coped with international moves, she trained to become a life coach and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in mindfulness. Women in technology, women in management, changing careers and professions in midlife, and mindfulness are a few of the topics close to her heart.

Ms. Mongia holds an undergraduate degree in electronics and communications engineering and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She previously worked for Unisys, McKinsey & Co., and Motorola in various roles. She is currently a teacher of mindfulness.
