Admissions Procedure

TASIS welcomes applications for admission from all students regardless of nationality, religion or gender. Applications are considered throughout the year and visitors are welcomed to campus at any time.
The application process is competitive and decisions by the Admissions Committee are based on both academic and non-academic factors. There is no application deadline but students are encouraged to have their applications submitted by the spring prior to the autumn opening of school. Acceptances are made with the provision that students complete their current year in good standing.

Applications will be considered by the Admissions Committee when all of the following have been received:

  2. Parents should request an official transcript to be sent by airmail directly to TASIS England from each school attended in the last three years. We will require official transcripts for the student's records; however, in some cases we will accept copies for the application process. Please note that acceptance is considered conditional until the official transcript is received.
  3. For non-native English Speaking applicants (ESL/EFL) to Grades 6-12, the English/ESL Teacher Recommendation should be completed by the ESL/EFL English teacher.
A visit to the school is recommended unless distance prohibits. The Admissions Committee considers applications when all necessary documents have been received. If the Admissions Office has not received all application information within the month of application, the application will be withdrawn. Applicants are notified promptly of the Committee's decision. Upon confirmation of acceptance and receipt of the deposit and enrollment form, students will be sent more specific information pertaining to entrance.
Please note that a deposit of £1,000 for day students or £2,000 for boarding students will become payable upon acceptance of the applicant to confirm the place offered. A place is not guaranteed until the deposit and enrollment form are received.  For day students, this deposit will be applied toward the second semester tuition fee. For boarders, the deposits will be refunded at the end of the school year, less any outstanding expenses accrued by the student. Payment for the enrollment deposit can now be accepted by Visa and Mastercard credit cards at no additional charge.
