Information for College & University Representatives

Welcome! We are delighted that you have included TASIS England in your travels. The information below is designed to help you find your way to our school and plan your trip to the other local schools in our area. To schedule a visit, please fill out our online request form.

Visiting Hours & Lunch

TASIS England has a demanding academic schedule, and every minute of class time is valued. In general, students are not able to miss class to meet visitors, unless it is an exceptional circumstance. All of our students have an extended lunch period when they are free. Whenever possible, we would request that you plan to visit TASIS England from 12:00-12:30.

We know it can be difficult to find time to eat on the road, and we welcome you to join us for lunch. Normally, the best time to eat is at 12:35, after your presentation. Please let us know ahead of time if you are interested.

Alternatively, there is a traditional British pub within walking distance in Thorpe Village. We may not be able to join you, but we can certainly point you in the right direction. For more information and sample of the menu, please go to http://www.theredlionthorpe.co.uk

Directions to TASIS

By Train, from London

Most of our visitors prefer to stay in London (although Windsor is another good option in the area.) The easiest way to travel back and forth from London to TASIS England is by train. Trains for our area leave London Waterloo twice an hour and typically take 40 minutes to get here. Virginia Water is the closest station to our school, and it is on the Reading line. However, there is not a taxi stand there, so please call ahead to book a taxi at 01932 571111 or 01784 471111.

Just 10 minutes away, the train stations in the towns of Egham and Staines do have taxi stands.
