Students get to experience the Spanish culture and participate in an exchange activity with Spanish students as part of the trip. The group will stay in a hotel in the city centre and will visit the City of Arts and Sciences, a group of futuristic structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum. MS Greece Trip - April 3-9, 2017 Grades 6 to 8
The most fascinating feature of Greece is arguably its rich history, which we will be exploring in depth on our trip. Everyone has heard the wonderful stories that have come out of this area, including the tale of the Trojan War, the Olympian gods and goddesses and Aesop’s Fables, to name a few. Some of the most famous people in history have also called Greece their motherland, including Socrates, Homer, Plato, Aristotle, Herodotus, Alexander the Great, and the infamous mathematician Pythagoras. It is a country bursting with culture, vibrancy and intellect and offers a great look into the foundations of western society, as we know it.
